- Absorption of formalin released from organs during dissection and cutting - Preparation for leakage during transport, etc. - Wiping up leaks 【Usage example during cutting】 1. Place a fan pad on a cutting board (cork board). 2. Remove the organ from the 10% formalin fixation solution and rinse with water. After thoroughly draining, place it on the pad. 3. During cutting, absorb and neutralize the formalin released from the organ to prevent the irritating odor of formalin gas. Replace with a new pad when the neutralizing effect is no longer effective. * For cutting large organs during dissection, use a sufficient amount of pads in the same manner. 【Precautions for use or handling】 - Since it usually presents an acidic nature, please wear protective gloves and goggles during use. - The products generated after the absorbed formalin treatment are safe and can be disposed of as is. - After use, if it contains infectious tissues, please dispose of it according to local government regulations. - Even if dry, there is no change in effectiveness. Additionally, if it dries, white precipitates may occur (discoloration due to oxidation, etc.), but this does not affect the product's performance and it can still be used.
