【Decalcification Method】 Immerse fixed tissue in EDT-X for decalcification. 【Points During Decalcification】 - The tissue should be as small and thin as possible. (Thickness suitable for the cassette: approximately 5mm maximum) - Perform defatting treatment beforehand to improve the penetration of the decalcifying solution. - The amount of decalcifying solution used should be 50 to 100 times the weight of the tissue. - Change the solution every 1 to 2 days. - To confirm the completion of decalcification, check the progress approximately twice a day by inserting a needle or similar instrument. *The immersion time varies depending on temperature, type of tissue, and thickness, but as a guideline, approximately 15 to 20 times the time required for our product K-CX (acidic decalcifying solution) is needed.
