Elimination of warping through segmentation and cost reduction To prevent warping caused by machining down polycarbonate black from a thickness of 5T to 2T, the main body plate and the positioning protrusions were manufactured separately. As a result, significant reductions in processing time and material costs led to two benefits: cost reduction and elimination of warping.

Acrylic transparent processing Typically, to achieve transparency after machining regular acrylic, post-processing such as buffing or gas treatment is required. Our company can achieve transparency solely through machining using custom tools. This offers advantages in terms of cost and reduced lead times, especially for complex shapes or large quantities.

Change in processing method improved surface roughness. PEEK V-groove processing was done using a ball end mill. Previously, another company had to create custom shape tools for each job, which resulted in longer lead times and unsatisfactory surface roughness. However, thanks to our proposal to change the processing method, we were able to shorten lead times and improve surface roughness. Although processing with a ball end mill takes more time and is therefore less cost-effective, we are making efforts to keep prices down through measures such as nighttime automated operations.

Acrylic Case Dyeing We received a consultation from a customer who was having trouble finding a colored acrylic case in the desired size, so we proposed dyeing. Since we were able to adjust the color types and intensity, it was well received. Currently, users in the amusement industry are considering mass production.

By switching from MC nylon conductive to Unilate CV-6, the advantages of enhanced dimensional stability and minimal deformation due to machining are maximized, resolving issues related to high precision tolerances and warping caused by machining from one side.
