Significantly reduce enzyme costs! Proposing energy-saving and low-cost bioethanol production.
We would like to introduce the conversion process of biomass resources using the arming microorganisms we possess. When using arming yeast, the yeast itself can simultaneously carry out saccharification of biomass and ethanol fermentation due to the action of enzymes it produces. Additionally, if the enzyme is amylase, starch can be saccharified and fermented without cooking, and arming yeast can be reused repeatedly. This leads to a significant reduction in enzyme costs, which have traditionally been a bottleneck, and holds great potential for energy-saving and low-cost bioethanol production. We are also actively developing various heat-resistant and acid-resistant industrial yeasts for arming. [Features] ■ Reduction of enzyme costs, which have been a traditional bottleneck ■ Potential for energy-saving and low-cost production *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Overview】 ■Regarding the use of arming yeast By utilizing the enzymes produced by the yeast itself, simultaneous saccharification of biomass and ethanol fermentation can be achieved. Furthermore, if the enzyme is amylase, starch can be saccharified and fermented without cooking, and arming yeast can be reused repeatedly. ■About cellulose resources Arming yeast, which has multiple cellulases, enables saccharification and fermentation from hexose sugars, while hemicellulase acts on pentose sugars. ■Benefits and possibilities In both of the above points, there is significant potential for a substantial reduction in enzyme costs, which have traditionally been a bottleneck, leading to energy-efficient and low-cost bioethanol production. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
