The silver tarnish inhibitor AC-10B forms a stronger coating on the silver surface compared to AC-10A, protecting it from sulfur gases such as hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide. 1. Pre-treatment AC-10B is a solvent-based silver discoloration preventive agent, so when treating with AC-10B, it is necessary to completely dry the surface of the silver or silver-plated item. 2. Treatment Conditions The following are general standard treatment conditions. ◎ Usage Method: Immerse in AC-10B concentrate ◎ Temperature: Room temperature ◎ Time: 30 to 60 seconds ◎ Drying: After lifting, leave at room temperature or use air to volatilize the solvent. 3. Treatment Tank Use a tank made of stainless steel or synthetic resin such as polyethylene. 4. Reactivity of AC-10B AC-10B chemically reacts with the silver surface to form a very thin rust prevention film. This rust prevention film protects the silver surface from gases in the atmosphere (especially sulfide gases such as hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide) and prevents discoloration.
