Confident in bending: "1D Bending Processing"
Tsukuba Iron Works' "1D bending process" is a machining technology that allows pipes to be bent with a pipe diameter and bending radius of approximately 1:1. Bending pipes with a pipe diameter and bending radius of about 1:1 is referred to as 1D bending (minimal radius bending). As the radius decreases, it becomes difficult to bend the pipe without causing cracks. At Tsukuba Iron Works, thanks to years of know-how and experience, we can perform 1D bending on small to large diameters ranging from φ34 to 114.3. Additionally, we possess various molds for 2D and 3D bending, enabling us to accommodate any conditions. 【Features】 ■ Reduction of welding points ■ Elimination of elbows ■ Reduction of pipe cutting points ■ Reduction of burr removal *For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.

Founded in 1950. Manufacturing hydraulic piping for large construction machinery in Ota City, Tokyo. We handle everything in-house from material procurement, cutting, pipe bending, secondary processing, welding, to painting. To meet a wide range of needs, we possess numerous bending molds, including 1D bends (minimum R) with a maximum diameter of φ114.3. In June 2018, we established a new factory in Joso City, Ibaraki Prefecture for zinc phosphate coating (Parkerizing) and painting. By being able to perform surface treatment in-house, we have successfully reduced delivery times and costs significantly. With a 7m³ tank, we can also process relatively large products.
