Our company traces its origins back to 1877, the 10th year of the Meiji era. In the early days, we were engaged in the manufacturing and sales of Japan's first research and testing chemicals. In conjunction with the enforcement of the 200 nautical mile exclusive fishing zone in 1977, we launched the crustacean antioxidant BL-7, contributing significantly to the development of Japan's fisheries industry. Additionally, in 1973, we released CV Calcium, following a technical partnership with PURAC, the world's largest manufacturer of fermented L-lactic acid, and since then, it has been widely used as an excellent calcium supplement in various sectors, including school lunches, the food industry, livestock industry, and feed industry. Furthermore, in 1993, we launched the groundbreaking food hygiene inspection device BACcT, which we have been researching and developing for many years, and we take pride in believing that it has been of some help in the hygiene management of the food industry.
