The "VB-XR type" is a low-temperature constant temperature bath used for testing the kinematic viscosity of Newtonian liquid crude oil and petroleum products using a glass capillary viscometer. The cooling method employs either an immersion freezer or a closed-type freezer, allowing for the simultaneous measurement of 2 or 3 viscometers.
