This module is an SSI communication module from the IRD series. It connects to SSI output devices such as rotary encoders and receives data.
- Equipped with four independent SSI communication axes (RS-422 line driver method) - Transferred to field bus (CC-Link, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS) via the IRD master module - Analog output (IRDS-AIO, IRDS-AO4) or digital output (IRDS-DO) from other slave modules - Clock frequency can be selected from 100kHz, 200kHz, 400kHz, 800kHz - The number of bits for communication can be changed in the range of 3 to 32 bits - Special bits (such as error bits) within the received data can be separated for monitoring - Gray code can be converted to binary code - Parity check can be performed to monitor transmission errors and discard erroneous data - Internal settings can be changed from field bus upper devices or dedicated Windows(R) software (IRD Manager) through the master module
