The "MPCNT-160 BASIC" is a simplified carbon nanotube synthesis device that uses ethanol as a carbon source. It is capable of synthesizing vertically aligned carbon nanotubes on various substrates. It allows for the direct growth of vertically aligned CNTs on silicon, quartz, titanium, stainless steel, copper, and ceramics, enabling the production of CNTs without the use of reducing gases. As an option, hydrocarbon gases can also be introduced.
