The "Beta Techno Star BTC-221" is a beta-ray thickness gauge suitable for measuring the thickness of films where there is a significant difference in atomic weight between the substrate and the coating, such as gold, silver, solder, rhodium, copper, nickel, photoresist, tin-nickel alloy, and chrome. By using a computer, the operability and functionality have been greatly enhanced. It is capable of measuring both thin and thick materials, as well as small surface areas with high precision. Special calibration curves can be easily programmed.
