When comparing alkali corrosion resistance, it shows results of approximately 800 times against aluminosilicate glass and 1750 times against borosilicate glass, demonstrating its superior alkali resistance. Its bending strength is 270 N/mm² (27 kgf/mm²), which is excellent mechanical strength compared to existing glasses.
