PTC refers to the property where the heating element responds to its own temperature to control the amount of electricity flowing through it, thereby regulating the heat output. Our floor heating system is equipped with an automatic current suppression feature that leverages this PTC characteristic. Each particle of the heater acts as a temperature sensor, detecting areas where the temperature has risen and suppressing the current only in those specific areas, which reduces the heat output.
