The SI-485MB2 is an isolated model of a gateway that can bi-directionally convert the Modbus RTU/ASCII protocol using a serial interface to Modbus TCP compatible with Ethernet LAN. The gateway processing firmware supports both Modbus TCP master mode and Modbus TCP slave mode, and it is compatible with the conversion of all current Modbus RTU/ASCII registers and commands. Isolation between the LAN and serial signals is achieved through opto-isolators, ensuring high reliability. It has a built-in wide input AC power supply, so no AC adapter is required. With an operating temperature range that supports minus 20°C, a robust metal housing, and compatibility with 35mm DIN rail mounting, it is a product that can be safely introduced in environments requiring reliability in FA and PA. Additionally, maintaining the same functionality as the SI-485MB2, the SI-485MB2-L adopts a wall-mounted enclosure. It can be securely fixed to the wall using screws from the top surface of the unit without any options.
