basic information
The SI-10US is a high-speed current loop converter that bi-directionally converts a computer's USB port to current loop transmission. The signal between the current loop and USB is insulated with a high voltage resistance of 3000V, making it ideal for FA applications that require high safety and reliability. It features the ability to separately configure the active current loop, which supplies current to the circuit from the built-in constant current source of the SI-10US, and the passive current loop, which does not supply current to the line, for both transmitted and received signals. Additionally, it has a function to cancel the echo of the data it has transmitted during multi-drop connections, allowing most current loop communication devices to be used from a computer's USB interface. Furthermore, it has been miniaturized compared to the conventional SI series communication converters, making it space-saving. With a wide operating temperature range and a noise-resistant metal housing, it is an ideal interface converter for factory equipment and inspection systems that require high reliability.
