basic information
FRP is a composite material made of reinforced fibers and resin. It possesses excellent properties such as toughness, lightweight, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and electrical insulation, and its applications have greatly expanded in recent years. Our FRP pull-out materials use isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin, which excels in strength performance, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance, as the base material, and glass fibers as the reinforcement. Among FRP, those that use glass fibers as reinforcement are called GFRP (GRP). The glass fibers bear tensile and compressive loads, while the polyester resin of the base material transmits shear forces, forming a strong structure. Compared to traditional structural materials like steel, concrete, aluminum, and wood, GFRP pull-out materials excel in corrosion resistance and lightweight properties. A significant advantage is the reduction of costs related to construction, foundation work, on-site transportation, and maintenance. Even when exposed to UV rays and rain, GFRP itself is not compromised, and its physical properties do not degrade. Additionally, GFRP is a stable material that does not decompose and leach harmful substances into the environment. Since 2007, we have been using GFRP pull-out materials as the main structural components for pedestrian bridges and boardwalks (wooden paths, walkways, decks, piers, etc.) in parks, accumulating a wealth of construction experience in numerous projects.

■FRP materials that are lightweight, have high strength per unit weight, are corrosion-resistant, and are strong against salt damage. ■Pin foundation bases that do not require heavy machinery and do not need excavation of the ground surface. Our company has introduced these two technologies ahead of other companies in Japan and boasts a wealth of construction achievements. We are involved in the design and construction of bridges, decks, boardwalks, and piers in national parks and theme parks that are well-known to everyone. By partnering with a Dutch company and introducing new technology using FRP materials, we have made it possible to construct long-span FRP bridges, which were previously difficult to achieve. Furthermore, a durability of over 60 years is expected, making this a technology that can open up new markets in the future.
