Explosion vent
To protect lives and equipment from dust explosions! We lower the pressure to a safe level to prevent equipment destruction. There are also many optional features available.
The explosion vent is a panel-type explosion protection device that protects equipment from destruction caused by an explosion when an explosion occurs inside the device or container. When an explosion occurs, the explosion vent opens fully at a pre-set pressure, releasing the explosive material and lowering the pressure inside the container to a safe level, thus preventing damage to the equipment. <Features> - Panel material is stainless steel - Insulation material can be attached (optional) - Burst testing conducted with certification provided - Available in square and round shapes, accommodating various vent areas - Sanitary compliant (optional) ◎ We are distributing explanatory materials that introduce this system and trends in dust explosion countermeasures! basic information
To protect containers and equipment, it is necessary to perform correct vent area calculations according to NFPA 68, VDI 3673 standards, and the technical guidelines for explosion pressure relief devices by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. The dimensions of the panels range from 6" x 9" (152 x 229mm) to 44.5" x 68" (1130 x 1727mm) for rectangular shapes, and from 8" (203mm) to 54" (1372mm) for circular shapes. The standard operating temperature is -40°C to 150°C, but for special specifications, it can accommodate high temperatures up to 1093°C. <Advantages> - Numerous achievements in countries like the U.S. and Europe where explosion protection is mandatory. - Minimization of human damage through the use of explosion protection equipment. - Manufacturing of equivalent existing products during replacement through production lot management.

Detailed information
-
VSP type dome-shaped structure, an explosion vent with resistance to pulsation and vacuum. The vacuum rating depends on the set pressure. It is designed to withstand over 1 million vacuum and positive pressure cycles.
-
The EXP/DV type is an explosion vent with a circular dome-shaped composite structure. It is equipped with vacuum support and is designed to withstand vacuum and lightly pressurized pulsating pressures, making it a robust explosion vent.
-
EXP type and EXP/V type The EXP type is the most basic flat-shaped explosion vent, featuring slits in the SUS316 top metal and sealed with FEP/PTFE. The EXP/V type is the vacuum-resistant version of the EXP, designed with vacuum support to create a vacuum-resistant structure, and is also the most basic flat-shaped explosion vent.
-
The VSS type features a slit located on the inside of the gasket, making it a beneficial explosion vent for food and pharmaceutical users in terms of sanitary specifications. In the sanitary specifications of the VSP type and VSE, the RTV is exposed on the inside of the frame, but in the VSS type, the contact powder part is made solely of SUS316, making it suitable for clean services. It is suitable for use in static pressure or vacuum conditions.
-
VSE Type The VSE type is a flat explosion vent suitable for operating pressures at atmospheric pressure or in a static pressure state without pulsation. The circular VSE type has two standard designs: one with a single petal that opens and one that divides into four petals upon opening. The four-petal design is suitable for higher set pressures. It is suitable for silos, bucket elevators, storage bins, and more.
-
The VSC type is an explosion vent designed with curvature to be directly mounted on a container. It is suitable for atmospheric pressure or static pressure conditions without pulsation.
-
HTV type This is a composite explosion vent designed for industrial equipment that operates under pulsating pressure and high-temperature conditions, optimized for applications such as drying furnaces and devices that generate turbulence and high flow rates. The structure consists of a top metal plate combined with a similar bottom metal plate, and an insulating material is formed between the two metals to create a dome in reverse phase. This unique structure allows the two domes to cancel out vibrations caused by various sources, such as pulsating pressure and mechanical vibrations.
-
The VSB type is an explosion vent for low-pressure buildings. It is maintenance-free and can be made up to 1.2m x 3m in size, with a set pressure ranging from 1kPa(G) to 5kPa(G). The standard materials are aluminum frame, polycarbonate panel, and EDPM seal.
