basic information
Contrary to notch filters, bandpass filters can provide high transmission rates in a wide range and excellent bandstop characteristics, allowing only light within a small wavelength range to pass through. Notch filters can suppress light within a narrow range of wavelengths. High precision, consistency, and stability are important qualities of our filter products. All products undergo precise and rigorous shipping inspections, and we offer customization services with various sizes and center wavelength options.

Applications/Examples of results
It is used to filter the laser light primarily emitted. For example, by placing a notch filter in the detection channel to achieve inhibition of the pump laser, better signals can be obtained against the noise ratio in Raman spectroscopy experiments. Besides spectrometers, notch filters are also used for laser protection, as they can attenuate dazzling lasers to protect the eyes of workers, allowing them to see different colors of specific spectral characteristics of objects. They are also used as laser fluorophores and in biomedical laser systems.
