Thick film fluoropolymer coating is a coating without pinholes (small holes) with a film thickness of approximately 300 to 1000 μm. In the case of standard fluoropolymer coatings, pinholes are likely to occur, allowing chemicals to penetrate through these pinholes, making them unsuitable for corrosion resistance. With thick film fluoropolymer coatings, repeated painting and curing can achieve a pinhole-free finish, thereby suppressing penetration by chemicals.
