Iron precision machinery type 0, type 1 + B-tight screw nickel plating
Specifications: This product conforms to the Japan Camera Industry Association standard (JCIS10-70) and has a smaller screw head than JIS standard screws with a cross recess. It can be tightened while forming a female thread in the counterpart material, eliminating the need for female thread processing or nuts. The cross-section of the screw part is shaped like a rice ball (triangular), allowing for fastening with a smaller torque compared to tapping screws. It can be used with both steel plates and resin materials. It enables standardization and integration of screws during assembly manufacturing. It is compliant with EU-RoHS regulations.

Applications/Examples of results
Steel is widely used as a material for screws due to its easy availability and strength. Based on carbon steel, which primarily consists of iron (Fe) and carbon (C), alloy steels are used that have undergone heat treatment or have additives such as chromium and molybdenum, depending on the application for shape, strength, and corrosion resistance. Nickel plating is widely used for decorative purposes and has a mirror-like luster. Its rust resistance is superior to chromate treatment or trivalent chromate treatment. To enhance adhesion to screws and improve rust resistance, a copper plating is applied as a base layer under the nickel plating.
