In recent years, there has been a growing global awareness of environmental measures, and many industries, including automotive and semiconductors, are considering alternative treatments to hexavalent chromium, with trivalent chromate being used as a substitute for chromate plating. On the other hand, compared to chromate treatment, managing the stirring state of the plating material, immersion time, temperature, and pH can be challenging, which may lead to uneven finishes in appearance and color. Furthermore, in general chromate treatment, the color may change as corrosion begins.
