Iron + Bind P Tight, made by Nitto Seiko, nickel-plated.
This is a self-tapping screw specifically designed for thermoplastic resins. The screw thread features two rows with a 45° angle, and the pitch is larger than that of B-tight. It has a low occurrence of galling during tightening and is less likely to experience screw spinning (screw stripping) even with repeated use. The screw can be driven in quickly and is less likely to cause whitening or cracking of the boss. It is compliant with EU RoHS standards.

Applications/Examples of results
Steel is widely used as a material for screws due to its easy availability, strength, and toughness. Based on carbon steel, which primarily consists of iron (Fe) and carbon (C), alloy steels that have been heat-treated or contain additions such as chromium and molybdenum are used according to applications, considering shape, strength, and corrosion resistance. Nickel plating, which has a mirror-like luster, is widely used for decorative purposes. Its rust resistance is superior to chromate treatment or trivalent chromate treatment. To enhance adhesion to screws and improve rust resistance, a copper plating is applied as a base layer under the nickel plating.
