Stainless Steel Type 1A + Pan Tapping Screw
This is a screw that can be directly tightened into a pilot hole that has not been processed with a male thread by plastically forming a male thread in the counterpart material itself. The tip of the screw is pointed, serving as a guide for positioning the center of the pilot hole and improving the grip of the screw. Since it tightens while forming the male thread through forming (plastic deformation), it is less likely to loosen compared to small screws. Usable counterpart materials include thin steel plates (0.4 to 1.2 mm), hardboard, wood, etc. It is compliant with EU RoHS standards.
