Stainless Steel Type 1A + Truss Tapping Screw
This is a screw that can be directly tightened into a pilot hole that has not been processed with internal threads by plastically forming internal threads in the counterpart material itself. The tip of the screw is pointed, serving as a guide for positioning the center of the pilot hole and improving the screw's grip. Since it tightens while forming internal threads through forming (plastic deformation), it is less likely to loosen compared to small screws. Usable counterpart materials include thin steel plates (0.4 to 1.2 mm), hardboard, wood, etc. It is compliant with EU RoHS standards.
