This is a stainless steel spacer treated with low-temperature black chrome. The matte black surface is ideal for optical devices that require anti-glare properties. With a film thickness of approximately 2μm, it has no variation in thickness distribution and offers corrosion resistance several tens of times greater than black dyeing. It features a hexagonal column shape with male threads on both ends. The low-temperature black chrome treatment has excellent wear resistance, light-selective absorption, and thermal absorption, leading to increased demand in industries such as semiconductors, liquid crystals, and optical technology-related equipment. Applications include semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment, optical inspection devices, top covers and diaphragm components of high-end single-lens reflex digital cameras, and precision drive components such as LM guides and gears. Standard film thickness: 5±2μm. Since there is no need to apply oil, it can be used in clean rooms.

The film thickness is very thin, around 2 microns, resulting in less variation in thickness distribution compared to electroplating. The color tone is matte black, making it suitable for preventing halation in optical sensor devices. It has less color unevenness compared to black dyeing treatment or chromate treatment, and unlike black dyeing treatment, there is no need to apply anti-rust oil, allowing for use in clean rooms.
