Stainless steel spacer with slotted round male and female screws, low-temperature black chrome.
BRU-0000BS
Stainless steel black spacer with slotted round male and female screws, low-temperature black chrome treatment.
This is a stainless steel spacer treated with low-temperature black chrome. The matte black surface is ideal for optical devices that require anti-glare properties. With a film thickness of approximately 2μm and no variation in thickness distribution, it has corrosion resistance that is several tens of times greater than black dyeing. It has a cylindrical shape with male and female screw types, and the male screw side is slotted. The low-temperature black chrome treatment offers excellent wear resistance, light-selective absorption, and thermal absorption, leading to increased demand in industries such as semiconductors, liquid crystal, and optical technology-related equipment. Applications include semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment, optical inspection equipment, top covers and diaphragm parts for high-end single-lens reflex digital cameras, and precision drive components such as LM guides and gears. Standard film thickness: 5±2μm. Since there is no need to apply oil, it can be used in clean rooms.

Applications/Examples of results
Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for use in humid environments and outdoors, such as in the chemical and water treatment fields. SUS XM-7 wire (equivalent to SUS304 performance) is widely used as the material for stainless steel screws. Low-temperature black chrome treatment excels in wear resistance, light-selective absorption, and thermal absorption compared to painting and other black coatings, making it suitable for semiconductor, liquid crystal, and optical technology-related devices. The film thickness is very thin, around 2 microns, resulting in less variation in thickness distribution compared to electroplating. The color tone is matte black, making it suitable for preventing halation in optical sensor devices. It has less color unevenness compared to black dyeing or chromate treatment, and unlike black dyeing, there is no need to apply anti-rust oil, allowing for use in clean rooms.
