Titanium has excellent corrosion resistance and possesses lightweight and strong characteristics. The specific gravity of pure titanium is 4.51, which is about half that of copper and approximately 60% that of stainless steel. In terms of corrosion resistance, it often surpasses stainless steel and copper alloys, particularly demonstrating corrosion resistance comparable to platinum in marine environments.
