Applications/Examples of results
UHPE is a sliding film with excellent wear resistance and low friction. Compared to conventional ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, it can be used over a wide temperature range (up to long-term heat resistance of 130°C). It has excellent mechanical strength and is ideal for applications such as thrust washers without lubrication.
