OM Solar company building incorporating solar thermal utilization and renewable energy technologies.
"The Egg of the Earth" serves as a symbol of OM Solar and as a base for research, development, and information dissemination. It is our company building that incorporates the OM Solar system, passive design, and natural energy utilization technologies into architecture. By investigating the potential vegetation that originally existed in this area and cultivating and planting it from seedlings and cuttings, we aim to restore the original landscape of Lake Hamana. At our company, we engage in technology development and information dissemination to create a comfortable living environment while immersing ourselves in nature at "The Egg of the Earth." *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.*

basic information
**Initiatives and Activities** Aiming to become the original landscape of Lake Hamana, the "Acorn Project," led by employees with the cooperation of experts and local businesses, began with a field survey during the planning phase to select the plants to be planted on the site. We choose native species that are believed to have existed in the Tsuda River system, which flows into Lake Hamana, and carry out activities from collection to seedling cultivation, transplantation, and site management. By continuing our activities for over 10 years, we are gradually getting closer to creating a forest. *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.*

In addition to realizing a comfortable living environment, we contribute to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions by using solar energy to cover heating and hot water, which account for more than half of household energy consumption. Over the past 20 years, OM Solar has been adopted in over 20,000 homes and various facilities that have become assets to local communities across the country. Together with member construction companies nationwide, we take pride in being pioneers of passive solar architecture and will continue to strive for the further promotion of solar energy utilization.
