The KI3060 and KI3061 are gap-width wide type dust-proof photo interrupters that use an infrared light-emitting diode on the emitting side and a modulated photo IC output on the receiving side. They feature a built-in amplifier and a deep groove type with a detection groove depth of 12.2mm. The wide detection groove width of 10mm allows for the detection of thicker objects. A photo transistor output type is also available. These devices can be used for object passage detection in card machines and currency exchange machines, coin passage detection in vending machines and amusement devices, and in OA equipment, among others.
