This daughterboard converts digital RGB signals in various formats, as well as special medical video signals, into 3G-SDI signals compliant with broadcast standards, allowing for image transfer over a single line. By transferring via 3G-SDI signals, it can be transmitted using a single coaxial cable, and existing commercial products such as matrices, splitters, and extenders from various manufacturers can be used, enabling long-distance transmission. Control data can also be transmitted simultaneously.
