If push-pull doesn't work, there's the roller fork! It can serve two purposes, also capable of handling standard pallets.
The roller fork is an attachment for sheet pallets that features a roller conveyor mechanism arranged in two vertical tiers inside the fork. The roller conveyor mechanism built into the roller fork draws cargo onto the fork or lowers it onto the floor or pallet as the forklift moves forward and backward. Since the roller fork does not require hydraulic power, it can be mounted on many existing forklifts. In contrast, adding a push-pull attachment requires an additional hydraulic system, which incurs significant costs and a long preparation period. Therefore, it is undeniable that there may be hesitation in considering the conversion to sheet pallets, but the introduction of the roller fork has led to an increase in inquiries for consideration. The usual delivery time is five months, so we also offer rental units as a temporary solution until delivery.

Applications/Examples of results
Example: Export of Industrial Raw Materials When considering the conversion to sheet pallets as a cost reduction measure for exporting bulk bag products that were typically shipped on standard pallets, roller forks became a candidate due to the high depreciation burden of the push-pull attachment. There were concerns about slipping (pushing the cargo) when pulling in the cargo, but this was resolved by mastering the operation method, leading to the adoption of the sheet pallets.

The official company name is Advanced Logic Tech Japan Co., Ltd., but we have often been referred to as "ALT" by our customers, so we would like to inform you of this. Our company was founded by engineers who have been involved in supporting the introduction of systems since the 1980s when sheet pallets were brought to Japan. The biggest difference between our company and other sheet pallet sales companies is that we primarily focus on technical consulting. As a result, the purchase of sheet pallets serves as compensation for our consulting services, making the consulting fees effectively zero. While sheet pallets are recognized as inexpensive material handling resources, our strength in their introduction lies in our ability to offer roller forks in addition to push-pull attachments. First, we can start by equipping the roller forks on the forklifts you currently have to begin considering the handling of sheet pallets. If any issues arise due to the mechanism or if there is a need to reduce running costs, we can further deepen the discussion with push-pull attachments, providing a reliable approach. We believe that because sheet pallets are inexpensive materials, they can be useful in solving various challenges.
