The problem of pushing cargo with a sheet pallet using a roller fork is solved by the pass border! Insertion of the fork tip is easy.
The Pass Border was developed to overcome issues related to roller fork operations. It is suitable for box cargo. Since the tip of the roller fork does not have a roller conveyor mechanism, the fork must be inserted while pushing the cargo up at the tip. This is generally not a problem when handling bagged cargo with sheet pallets, but with box cargo, there may be instances where the cargo cannot be inserted and is instead pushed. To address this, the Pass Border features a gap (patented) designed to accommodate the tip of the roller fork at the edge of a thin pallet. This gap ensures that the bottom surface of the pallet maintains contact with the roller conveyor mechanism, allowing for smooth pulling of the cargo onto the fork by the conveyor mechanism. Applications/Examples of results
- Domestic product transportation between bases using plastic pass borders Due to the product characteristics, it was difficult to handle cargo with sheet pallets, so we considered product transportation between bases using pass borders. This was adopted because it ensured a cargo load equivalent to that during manual handling. The return of pallets was entrusted to the unloaded truck, resulting in virtually zero costs. Normally, pallets would not be accepted, but since the thickness of the pass borders is similar to that of a sheet, they could fit into the empty space of the truck bed, allowing for cooperation.
Detailed information
-
Comparison of the number of items loaded onto large trucks - Standard pallets = 240 items - Nesting type plastic products = 2,400 items It's a waste to leave 2,400 items waiting for return! With Passborder, you can return in units of 240 items (approximately 5㎥ with standard pallet loading) via freight service, keeping costs to about one-third of that of standard pallets.
Company information
The official company name is Advanced Logic Tech Japan Co., Ltd., but we have often been referred to as "ALT" by our customers, so we would like to inform you of this. Our company was founded by engineers who have been involved in supporting the introduction of systems since the 1980s when sheet pallets were brought to Japan. The biggest difference between our company and other sheet pallet sales companies is that we primarily focus on technical consulting. As a result, the purchase of sheet pallets serves as compensation for our consulting services, making the consulting fees effectively zero. While sheet pallets are recognized as inexpensive material handling resources, our strength in their introduction lies in our ability to offer roller forks in addition to push-pull attachments. First, we can start by equipping the roller forks on the forklifts you currently have to begin considering the handling of sheet pallets. If any issues arise due to the mechanism or if there is a need to reduce running costs, we can further deepen the discussion with push-pull attachments, providing a reliable approach. We believe that because sheet pallets are inexpensive materials, they can be useful in solving various challenges.
