This is a porous glass foam material that has been commercialized through a clean recycling process that also solves the difficult issue of precious metal leaching.
◎Porous Glass Foam Material "Porous α" ● This product is manufactured by firing glass bottles discharged from general households at approximately 1000°C in the "Porous α" manufacturing plant owned by the Tottori Resource Recycling Research Institute. ● This product is a foam material composed of countless voids with a strong silicate wall, consisting of amorphous lumps. ● This product is porous and has a large specific surface area. The dry bulk density can be adjusted to approximately 0.3 to 1.1. It also excels in water permeability and water retention. ● In addition to standard specifications, this product can be modified with various functions to form "Porous α" tailored to specific applications. ● Since the raw material is glass bottles, there is no leaching of harmful substances such as heavy metals from this product after installation, eliminating concerns about environmental pollution.

Company information
The 21st century is positioned as an era in which a resource-circulating society will be established. Tsuyama Industrial Raw Materials Co., Ltd. is a company that considers how to respond to various forms of recycling, efficiently and promptly processes industrial waste generated by businesses, prioritizes the protection of the natural environment, and focuses on strategies to effectively recycle limited resources. In the local community, we cooperate significantly with local governments in waste reduction efforts and contribute to helping residents understand the importance of a recycling society. Such initiatives cannot be accomplished by our company alone; we fully recognize that they must be considered on a national scale through organizations such as the Japan Recycled Resources Business Cooperative Federation and the Japan Iron Recycling Industry Association, which consist of businesses in the same industry. We emphasize compliance and promote our business activities accordingly.
