Cube-type dielectric non-polarizing beam splitter for controlling laser light sources optimized for arbitrary wavelengths.
This is a cube-type polarization-independent beam splitter designed for controlling laser light sources that emit at specific wavelengths and outputs. While the effective wavelength range is broad, the difference in transmission characteristics for P and S polarization is controlled within 3%, and the beam deviation angle (transmission angle) can be manufactured within 2 minutes to reduce beam misalignment. By applying an AR coating (anti-reflective film) optimized for the specified wavelength range, the transmission efficiency can be maximized, and by applying a black coating treatment, unwanted reflections (stray light) can be eliminated, addressing glare and ghosting issues. It can be designed for any control wavelength, such as for a 532nm diode laser (semiconductor laser), a 632.8nm helium-neon (He-Ne) laser, or a 1064nm neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) laser. It is widely used in fields such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment and automatic optical inspection devices for line irradiation, position detection, and optical processing in machining and measurement instruments.
