Experience the joy of walking once again... Assisting with ankle plantarflexion and dorsiflexion to achieve accurate and safe walking.
"RE-Gait" is a walking assist robot developed to assist individuals with poor ankle movement, such as those with hemiplegia after a stroke, with the aim of bringing their walking closer to a normal gait. By assisting dorsiflexion at the time of swing, it causes contraction of the gastrocnemius muscle, coordinating the movements of the knee and hip joints, allowing for smooth swinging. Additionally, data management is possible via a tablet. Based on the information from the foot sensors of both feet, the optimal walking program can be set, and individual walking data is recorded, eliminating the need for data entry each time. [Features] ■ Assistance for ankle plantarflexion and dorsiflexion ■ Support via tablet ■ Planned and supervised by research groups from Waseda University and Hiroshima University (collaboration between medicine and engineering) *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Our company aims to establish a "Central Nervous System Regenerative Medicine Center" and, as a venture company originating from Hiroshima University, we strive to contribute the university's research results to society through the research and development of key technologies such as the gravity control device "Gravite" and the walking assist device "RE-Gait." "Gravite" means "gravity" in French. Developed with the concept of "a reachable, familiar universe," it is a gravity control device that provides an environment of 1/1000th G, similar to that of a space station, as well as a hypergravity environment of 2-3 G. Previous research could only be conducted in a 1G environment. This device is expected to yield entirely new research results and unknown discoveries. In May of this year, we completed the delivery to NASA's Microgravity Center, and it will be used for preliminary experiments and control experiments in space experiments in the future. "RE-Gait" means "to walk again." Developed with the concept of "the emotion of being able to walk once more..." it is a walking assist device for individuals with limited ankle movement (for example, patients with hemiplegia after a stroke).
