The most versatile production tablet press in the KORSCH lineup, capable of manufacturing various types of tablets with a single machine.
The XL400 allows for eight different configurations, including single-layer, double-layer, and triple-layer tablet pressing, by using modular components. There is the SFP, specialized for single-layer tablet production, and the MFP, a multifunction tablet press capable of producing multi-layer tablets, both sharing a common platform. Each part and cam-mounted track is modularized and designed based on a Plug and Play concept, allowing for tool-less and easy attachment and detachment, as well as readiness for operation. KORSCH's unique designs, including patented compression columns, carrier plates, and air cushion dampers, are abundantly incorporated, achieving very low vibration and noise levels (below 80dB) despite being intended for large-scale production. By connecting to PharmaCheck, it is also possible to measure tablet weight, hardness, and thickness in accordance with sampling times, and if there is a deviation between the measurement results and target values, a feedback loop can be applied to the machine side for automatic parameter correction.
