The DCF50A performs measurements based on fractal theory. This product allows anyone to easily evaluate the dispersion state of fillers such as carbon black in rubber compounds. The operation is simple: after cutting the sample, just set it in the sample holder and press the measurement start button, and data such as dispersion degree, particle count, and particle size will be displayed in Excel. The measurement time is approximately one minute per measurement, allowing for quick assessment and evaluation. The DCF50A applies fractal dimensions to image processing, calculating dispersion in a completely different way from traditional aggregate counting methods. While there are conventional methods that involve dividing sample images and calculating the area ratio of aggregates, the fractal dimension method measures by varying the number of divisions in the image.
