The "Ireisutube" is a tube made of five layers that solves the issues of gas barrier properties and operating temperature. It detects fires before the abnormal heat generation of lithium-ion batteries reaches 120°C and quickly releases extinguishing agents. To speed up fire detection and extinguishing agent release, PE-based resin is used, but a resin layer specialized for barrier properties is provided to prevent the extinguishing agent and N2 gas from permeating and reducing during standby.
