The robot (ABB's Yumi) recognizes two types of bulk containers with one camera. ABB Yumi parts assembly from 2 random bins With 1 camera, 2 bins are viewed. Each bin has random products. The products have highly reflective surfaces, but this does not pose any problem for the Pick-it 3D vision system. Additionally, before assembly, the hand unit rotates, and an appearance check is performed using the same Pick-It camera.
