basic information
Charging refers to the phenomenon where electrons are localized and accumulated in an insulator due to friction or separation, resulting in static electricity. Static electricity can cause a momentary high-voltage current to flow, leading to various issues such as electric shock pain, malfunction or physical damage to precision equipment, and ignition. Additionally, because it carries a charge, it attracts dust, dirt, and pollen through electrostatic action, causing contamination. Antistatic agents are substances that prevent the accumulation of static electricity by imparting a slight conductivity to insulators. Many antistatic agents work by adsorbing moisture from the air onto the surface of objects through the action of low-molecular-weight surfactants, thereby reducing electrical resistance. Our company's antistatic agents further minimize the effects of humidity by introducing ion-conducting materials, which act as electron carriers. We also offer a polymer type in our lineup. The polymer type can form an ultra-thin film on the surface of objects, resulting in superior adhesion, durability, humidity independence, anti-blocking properties, and water resistance compared to the low-molecular-weight type. Application methods include spraying (aerosol, mist), transfer (sponge roll, gravure roll), and dipping.

Applications/Examples of results
1. For optical materials for liquid crystal displays (LCD), "Capron W-25" is applied with a sponge roll, imparting antistatic and slip properties to the surface. It prevents dust adhesion and scratches during stacking, significantly improving product yield rates. 2. For packaging PET film, "Capron L-50" is applied using a mist spray. There is no adverse effect on subsequent offset printing and heat sealing processes. 3. For PET film used in laminating paper substrates, "Capron L-353" is diluted with IPA and applied with a gravure roll. Transportability is improved. It has good compatibility with primers and excellent heat sealability. 4. For commercial printing offset rotary presses, "Capron B-200" is applied with a silicone coater along with silicone slip agents. It also imparts slip and crack prevention properties, resulting in good edge alignment in the sheeter section. 5. For synthetic fibers used in spinning, "Hypron PF-30" is applied by spray. It prevents thread breakage during the spinning process and increases production efficiency. 6. For foam silicone rubber sheets, "Capron F-50" is applied by spray. Release properties during the rewinding of the sheets are improved.
