The "MSD" rubber peeling detection device is specialized for detecting topping defects (rubber peeling) that occur during the calendar process of tire cords. The number of CCD cameras is determined based on the web width and detection accuracy. The CCD camera used is the OL91, which features a monochrome CCD array chip with 6144 pixels and 8 subdivided subpixels, making it highly efficient. Thanks to a dedicated detection algorithm, the device is designed to avoid detecting anything other than rubber peeling, such as breeder codes, various markings, and liner images.
