The "304M CST" is a capillary suction time measurement device used as a rapid and reliable method for evaluating sludge filtration characteristics and conditions. The capillary suction pressure generated by standard filter paper is used to draw water from the sludge. The rate at which water permeates the filter paper varies depending on the condition of the sludge and the filtration characteristics of the cake formed on the filter paper.
