A kit that stores medical information such as the primary care physician and chronic illnesses of elderly individuals and people with disabilities in a container. This kit can be used to save lives by utilizing the information in case of an unexpected illness.
The Emergency Medical Information Kit, as explained by Professor Takiko Okamoto of Meiji Gakuin University, was proposed to Minato Ward and the Tokyo Fire Department based on the "Emergency Medical Information Kit" system implemented in Portland, Oregon, USA. It has been in use at the Minato Ward Office since May 2008. Individuals fill out an A4 form with personal medical history, emergency contact information, and store it in the kit. The kit is designated to be kept in the refrigerator, and a magnetic seal indicating its storage location is placed on the refrigerator door, along with a sticker on the inside of the entrance door, standardized across the nation. In the event of a sudden illness when living alone or when family members are not present, even if one can call an ambulance, it would be beneficial to reliably communicate information such as medical history, pre-existing conditions, blood type, medications being taken, and emergency contact details to the emergency responders. The "Emergency Medical Information Kit" was created to fulfill this role. Our company offers the "Emergency Medical Information Kit," as shown in the photo below, at the lowest price to assist in its promotion by local neighborhood associations, municipalities, and fire departments. We also accept orders for kits with unique regional designs and customized name stickers.

basic information
Background - Advancing aging society - The average time from notification to the arrival of an ambulance at the scene is 7.0 minutes nationwide, and the time from arrival to transporting the patient and admitting them to a medical institution is 26.4 minutes, both of which have set new worst records. (2008 Fire Department White Paper) - With the aging population, the demand for emergency services is also expanding. In 2019, the number of emergency dispatches reached approximately 5.29 million, an increase of about 52% over the past ten years. In contrast, the increase in emergency teams nationwide has been limited to 8%. The proportion of elderly people in emergency transports reached 46.1% in 2018. (Quoted from Sankei Shimbun, August 5) In the past, there was a sense of community, and everyone in the neighborhood knew where elderly people lived alone, but now that sense of community has diminished, and there is also the issue that local governments find it difficult to collect personal information due to privacy protection laws. Installing emergency medical information kits in the refrigerators of every household could help address some of these issues. If emergency responders are required to check the refrigerator, it could solve some of the problems. Refrigerators are found in every household's kitchen, which eliminates the hassle of searching, and information inside the refrigerator is more acceptable to be seen by others. I believe this is a good method that protects privacy without incurring significant costs.

We undertake contract development and mass production of new products based on engineering technologies such as mechanical mechanisms, molds, electricity, and optics (lasers). The areas of contract development include the realization of research themes from industry, academia, and government, production equipment, medical and welfare devices, measuring instruments, electric vehicles, etc. We also realize various community comprehensive support projects for local governments. Our proposal allows you, regardless of the distance during your business trips, to use the free Skype system to communicate intentions in detail through live cameras (video and audio), enabling face-to-face discussions on-site to reach conclusions. Are you currently having meetings or administrative tasks with multiple companies? By consolidating vendors, your intentions can be directly conveyed to the manufacturing site, reducing the manufacturing burden (experimental preparation) that has previously fallen on you, allowing you to focus on your original research activities that add higher value. In the case of students, there may be many areas where they lack experience, such as element technologies, material selection, surface treatment methods, and drawing creation. However, without feeling ashamed, by sharing ideas from the conceptual stage, we leverage our years of support experience to provide advice and backup for realization while understanding your intentions, and we are committed to assisting you responsibly.
