Compatible with ceramics! A sediment abrasion test that allows for surface condition observation and wear reduction measurement.
The "Erosion Wear Test" is an examination that investigates the wear phenomenon known as scratching wear, where the surface is abraded by hard protrusions or foreign objects. Specifically, a certain amount of silica sand is poured onto the contact surface between the test specimen and a rotating rubber wheel, and the wear loss of the test specimen's surface and its surface condition are measured and observed. Materials that are prone to wear, such as plastics, show a large wear loss, while wear-resistant materials like tool steel show a small wear loss in measurements. [Test Items] ■ Measurement of wear loss ■ Observation of surface condition *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
