The "Laser Hardening System" is a system that irradiates the surface of metals such as steel, rapidly heating a thin film on the surface. This heating raises the temperature of the material, and the austenite region rapidly cools due to heat diffusion and heat conduction into the material as the laser light passes through. Therefore, there is no need for cooling with oil or water after heating the material, as is done with other hardening methods.
