With UnipicK, you can instantly collect individual cells from your regular culture dishes or well plates. Set it up on your lab microscope and pick up the targeted cells while observing them. There is no need for any pre-treatment, such as trypsinization; cells can be collected while still attached to the culture dish at a rate of up to approximately 25 cells per minute. This collection has almost no impact on cell viability. Additionally, the volume for picking cells is very small, with a minimum of 15 nL per pick. Furthermore, microdissection can be performed on tissue sections with a thickness of 5-300 μm. You can use native (fresh) sections, fresh frozen sections, or sucrose-treated sections. The nucleic acids and proteins collected from the samples are of high quality and are fully compatible with any omics workflow, including transcriptome sequencing (NGS) and proteomics research.
