Reducing the evaluation time for moisture resistance of electronic components and materials is one of the major themes. Traditional testing methods, such as high-temperature and high-humidity tests, required a very long time for evaluation. The high-acceleration life testing device PC-R8/R8D series achieves a significant reduction in evaluation time by creating a high-temperature, high-humidity, and pressurized environment within the chamber, thereby applying greater stress to the samples. The PC-R8 series consists of two independent chambers: a testing chamber and a steam generation chamber. It is a two-chamber type unsaturated pressure cooker (HAST device) that boasts excellent functionality and reliability. The PC-R8D also comes in a two-tier type that allows for different tests to be conducted simultaneously.

**Features** ○ Excellent performance with a dual-chamber structure Consists of two completely separate and independent chambers: a test chamber (dry bulb) and a steam generation chamber (wet bulb). Compared to a single-chamber air conditioning type, it has the following features: - Wide effective dimensions (test chamber dimensions 26L/67L, effective internal dimensions 12L/40L) - Wide operating temperature and humidity range (65–100% RH, MAX 150°C at 65%) - No need for stirring fans (no maintenance required for bearings) - No concerns about contamination inside the chamber due to fan bearing wear. ○ Electric clamp and sliding tray An electric clamp system allows the door to be opened and closed with the push of a button. Additionally, a sliding tray that can be pulled out is adopted for the door. ○ Chamber designed to prevent dirt adhesion and excellent cleanability To minimize the effects of contamination, the surface of SUS-316L is treated with electrolytic polishing that provides excellent corrosion resistance, dirt adhesion prevention, and cleanability. ○ Main specifications - Operating temperature range: 105.0–162.5°C (PC-304R8/R8D) 105.0–150.0°C (PC-422R8/R8D) - Operating humidity range: 65–100% RH - Operating pressure: Max. 0.208 MPa
