At Marub Industries, we perform "anodizing," "conversion treatment," and "alkaline degreasing treatment," which are effective for improving the performance of parts. We have also introduced automatic anodizing equipment capable of handling mass production, allowing us to accommodate projects with a large number of lots. ■ What is anodizing? Anodizing is a process that involves immersing aluminum in an electrolytic solution, which bonds with oxygen to create an oxide film approximately 5μm thick on the surface. This process enhances the high corrosion resistance, high wear resistance, and high hardness of the parts. ■ What is conversion treatment? Conversion treatment is a surface treatment that involves immersing aluminum in a treatment solution without using an electrolytic solution, bonding it with oxygen to create a thin oxide film. This film is about 0.1μm thick, thinner than anodizing, and since there is no electrolytic treatment process, it allows for a shorter processing time. ■ What is alkaline degreasing treatment? Alkaline degreasing treatment is a process that removes machining oils, dust, dirt, and impurities that adhere during product processing.
