[Sample available] Explaining the characteristics of O-rings and the principle of sealing.
O-rings are compressed when installed in a groove because the depth of the groove is smaller than the thickness of the O-ring. This amount of compression is called "crush white." At low pressure, the sealing action is performed by the rubber elasticity of the O-ring. When hydraulic pressure is applied from one side, a reaction force greater than the applied hydraulic pressure occurs. This is referred to as the O-ring's self-sealing action. 【Features】 ■ Small volume at the installation part ■ Simple structure, easy to install and remove ■ A wide variety of materials available, usable over a broad temperature range ■ Can effectively seal under alternating pressure from both sides ■ More economical compared to other packings ■ Abundant stock for quick delivery *Samples are available upon request.
